Dr. Urushadze is a Founder (March, 1998) of the Georgian National Section of Euroscience (ESGNS). He is also Co-Founder of the Museum of the Soviet Occupation of the Georgian National Museum (May 26, 2006) and Founder (November 2, 2012) of the Public Movement "Georgia for Human Rights and Democracy" (GHRD).

Dr. Urushadze is a Nobleman (Aznauri) and descendant of David II Bagrationi, King of Imereti (Western Georgia) in 1784-1790.

HONOURS AND AWARDS:

Grant of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (1997). Dr. Urushadze is listed in: the "Marquis Who's Who in the World" (USA, 1999) and the Biographical Dictionary "2000 Distinguished Intellectuals of the XXI Century" (The American Biographical Institute, 2009).
